Re: Home Schooling

My child is home educated, and we know plenty of the above kinds of kids (overbearing or quiet) BUT we know far more of the "right" kind of children, the not overbearing, not too quiet, normal children. We go to some groups, but only because sophie is interested in the subject matter, not because of...

Re: What have you found lately?

Ikea Poang chair, we're wanted one for ages and jim's dad's friend was getting rid of one. jim asked if we could have it just before he put it in his car boot to go to the tip.
it's a bit scrotty looking on the cushion even after a wash, but for now it's covered with a large piece of brown fun fur.

Re: 3 R's Kids Clothes

I save buttons and zips, but we don't get much second hand at the mo. child is a different shape to most of the older girls I know, those older girls have siblings and local second hand shops are slim pickings for kid's stuff unfortunately :(

I love DPNS, but couldn't get on until I did the Knitty Socks 101 pattern a couple of times. I've now made two practises, a pair of baby socks and a pair of decorative ones for hanging on the tree....
