Re: Fight obesity like tobacco

It is indeed a fine line, however I do think that a seriously overweight child is a tad easier to diagnose successfully, even if you are Marietta Higgs lol. All I am saying is that over the years a lot of whittling and hot air has gone into all sorts of political correctness and so forth, and the re...

Re: Fight obesity like tobacco

Yes, but clearly, education by itself does not work. If is did, nobody would get drunk, smoke or take drugs, all fine for adults. For me an adult has every right to do what they like with their own bodies, simple as that. However, when it comes to the children they are responsible for, no. Most chil...

The price of water

I was having a conversation last night with a chap that is thinking of buying a place over here and setting down to a self sufficientish lifestyle. Now, he tells me that he is paying around £80 per MONTH for his tap water. Does anybody think that could possibly be right? He also told me that he can ...

Re: Hello from france

Welcome, great to have you here, tell me more about the rabbits. They are just becoming popular here, but I don't know anything about the breed type, feeding, dispatching or cleaning though. Do they have enough usable meat on them to make it worthwhile?

Re: How much?!!!

Spuds from the shop here are the equivalent of about £.1.90 for 25 Kilos, at the moment they are mostly from Bulgaria, and some from Germany, then it goes on to spuds from Egypt. I usually have about enough from the garden, since it is just me and my partner. She is Bulgarian, so it's bread with eve...

Re: Re:Benifit of getting high school diploma 0nline @ Spaml

We have a little web site just for short films, it is just a wysiwyg site I fiddle around with in the winter, I know all about the pain in the rear end from these spam people, and I don't have a forum, just an email address. Anyway, a new version of the sofware came out with one of these capach thin...

Re: How many chickens?

Yes, 6 birds maximum I would say, and if you are in Ireland you will be having a reasonable amount of rain, so I would think about slabbing or concreting some of it, you will get muddy if not. When I lived in the the UK I had warrens for eggs, no good for meat though. Here I have leghorns, great for...
