Re: process aloe vera..
surprising that it survives quite chilly weather, but i don't think it would here. still, it's my favourite house plant being beautiful, pretty unkillable, and useful too.

Re: process aloe vera..
i just cut off a leaf and use as is. the most i do is put a leaf in the fridge to wipe on bites as it's more soothing that way ...and also for burns its very good.
btw, are they frost hardy or are you in a mild region?

the mouse or the cockroach?
not real ones, the ones in the ads, dashing about the screen. i know its daft but i 'm seriously distracted by the cockroach and have to scroll up or down to position it out of sight, i'm not ok with it in my view. they disgust me so much. it's the only creature i have his reaction for. anyone else?...

treat painted cast iron stove
how do i.....get the paint off our cast iron stove in order to black it with a graphite based polish? Or is the easy answer just to paint it again? Will it ever look nice like that as it doesn't now and it has started to rust. Taking it out and getting it sandblasted is not an option.

living on the fringes of a greek village where some families are already desperate and where crime has started to creep in where up til now there has been ZERO crime, apart from opportunistic gypsies, i guess we are looking at economic breakdown this winter.
