Puddles are written into sensory play lesson plans at my school. Seriously, they are part of the Forest schools curriculum and a valuable learning exploration for many of our kids who have so many sensory issues. If you want validation read Richard Louv's Last Child in the Woods, lots of research ba...

Got the nutrient bit; marmite or yeast extract (duh, blond moment) What about citric acid? Can I just use lemon juice? And pectin enzyme? Any clever cheats on that ? Or d...

Re: Lemon hooch recipe ?

So two or three weeks on it still tastes yeasty. Do I just need to wait it out, or have I done something wrong? Any suggestions gratefully received as starting the next batch today.

Online dating; here we go again !!!!

So I raised some £££ on fleabay and decided to launch back into the cyber dating world. The free sites are too full of flakes, cheats and weirdos. So I splashed some cash and joined Eco Lovers :grouphug: a few interesting profiles, we shall see. I have tried other dating sites, with some success [ob...

Re: Lemon Hooch

Tim it should be fine, I put mine in plastic bottle and took to beach. Still tasted a bit yeasty so going to leave it in bottle, releasing lid now and then, for a few more weeks.

Need to decide what to put in empty dj now. More lemonade maybe!!!

Any recommended Apps or podcasts ?

Ok, so I have been working hard selling 'stuff' on fleabay  and am now the happy new owner of an iPod Touch. Not very ish, but I love to have music to ride/run with on really long days, and also audio books for driving. Venturing into podcasts too. Broke many ipods so now have warranty too !...

Re: Dog passport & France.. "dangerous dogs"

We had loads of paperwork, took over a year to prepare, cost a small fortune, and vet still screwed up ! Didnt know about pedigree, they didnt have any, but maybe different for UK entry. Passports fo...
