Re: Sparkling elderflower cordial?
Ok, I did sterilise things like I do for jam but I didn't do the water bath thing so it must be the wild yeasts, I am not complaining though! At this stage they are in the fridge and not too alcoholic- probably less than light beer. I am planning on finishing them over xmas/new years so hopefully no...

Re: Milk intolerance?
Well I haven't got my act together to get any goats milk yet but I did make almond and oat milk yesterday and have been reducing the amount of milk so today he had a bottle of the nut milk before bed quite happily instead of having five little bottles of cow milk throughout the day. His rash which h...

Sparkling elderflower cordial?
I made elderflower cordial and I thought I did a good job of it but they are all fizzy. delightful and obviously mildly alcoholic. Am I going to harm myself by drinking this?

Re: Milk intolerance?
I will try goats milk, I am a bit iffy about soy milk esp for boys- I figure it is better to avoid it than risk the rumours of hormonal disruptions being true. Whenever I go to the Dr. with health complaints I am told there are many complicated expensive tests which are inconclusive and/or there is ...

Re: Milk intolerance?
That seems like a good suggestion, he is the one who has the most milk so he probably wouldn't notice if we didn't switch but I think I will pickup some kind of "non normal" milk tomorrow and get started. Hopefully it will cure every thing that ails him( I was going to put a *fingers crossed* smiley...

We have an unhappy little man of three. Re: PSB.... thoroughly confused....!
I am still eating shoots from my plant which matured in Spring, the one I planted last year- I don't know how long they are supposed to sprout either!

Re: How can I be?
I am beginning to wonder if there is anyone these days who isn't touched by depression/anxiety/mental health issues and therefore can anyone tell Boboff what "normal" people do? Not me that's for sure! I know I have trouble "being" and trying to get my dear husband to stop doing things constantly BE...

Unfortunately that one would go over my head two fold- one I suspect it is a country specific reference and two if it was a reference to the Australian celebrity masterchef I still wouldn't have the foggiest!

Re: Elm seeds- compost? Mulch or....?
I thought leaf mould might work- it is raining now so now they will be all damp which will be easier to handle... I will bag them up and leave them to lurk behind the shed!
