Got my wine rack staple fermenting,ready to bottle and in the rack.........
white Grape juice wine,its cheap 70p a bottle,dry,alchoholic and ready to drink in 3 months and even my mother thought it was drinkable and she's a Sunday times wine club member!!!

Not all elderflower smells like cat pee!!My book says avoid the flowers that do and pick ones that don't.My flowers smell ok but the ones up the lane stink.It varies from plant to plant.I alway use old lemonade bottles as we did have a glass explosion once!!The longer you leave it in the bottle the ...

Love the desk and nearly free,my hubby built a chicken house out of site leftovers going to the skip all we paid for was the roof felt.it gives you a great feeling better than going out and buying a new item.

OOh pigs definately!We had one and it filled a freezer so 2 would keep you in meat for ages and then you can put up the poly tunnel on the nicely fertilized roativated land!We went the whole hog(parden the pun)and had bacon,ham,sausages,roasting joints,chops etc and it fed our family for a year.A gr...

cheap alternative to purple spray?

I just collected 8 ex-bats to go with my existing flock of 7 and one poor girl has been peaked so blood is drawn.I have no purple spray but wondered if there is a temporary alternative till I can get to the. Shops.hope you can help.thanks Clare
