i cant give the family "doing" gifts this year ( coz im 400 miles away lol :lol: ) but ive got under way with the knitting, brewing, preserving and sewing ( cant say much more as mummy dearest frequents these parts) so its a hand made xmas all round :cheers:

i was an 80s kid and we had no central heating till we moved house when i was 12 ,just a dodgy rayburn ( 1920s patent pending label atatched! :shock: ) i dont remeber ever going cold inside, but layers were mandatory :lol:

my grandma(81) is the same she was a pastry chef and always cooked from scratch but now insists on frozen sh1t from icel**d and the like :pukeright: even if offerd a home cooked meal without needing to lift a finger , im assuming its just a degrading of the tastebuds along with everything else :(

sounds like hormones are to blame ( or lack of) id go for more blood tests tho if you that worried . to ease an itchy tight scalp use a rosemary rinse , just steep some sprigs in boiling water and use when its cool ( as a last rinse dont wash it off) , works great for when i get stress eczema on my ...

cats are true carnivores so there really is little or no need for the added veg mater in commercial cat foods ( dogs do need this tho they are more omnivorous) so for a "natural" cat diet raw meat and fish would be it . as long as they are able to go out and hunt up anything they need you cant buy l...

grape vines look dead for most of the year, but it should be fine, if its in a pot keep it frost free over winter an re pot or plant out in the spring ,

the only probelm ive had with pyrex is if you should drop it ,it doesnt break it explodes every where :( but great otherwise . ive not tried silicone big cake "tins" but the muffin cases are good,v easy to clean and store.

ok so im on my second ever brew ,fig wine, question is the "stuff" isnt bubbling loads but theres a bit of fizz left,( its been in about 10 days)do i shake it up or syphon it into a new 'john i dont want to mess up now cos it looks nice and tempting .. and might be my dad xmas pressie if it works :d...
