Brill idea Andy I'll have one. I also use a book called Allotoment Gardening (an organic guide for beginners) by Susan Berger. Its very easy to read section 1 tell you about tools and ground prep. Section 2 has an a-z of veg and a month by month guide. It tell you what to sow and what should be read...

I remember as a child go to my grandparents house. When we arrived you couldn't ask granny what was for lunch because she had no idea until grandad came in from the garden laden with veg and fruit. Tonight its sausages, frozen chips and baked beans. Followed by ice cream with toffee sauce. I let W&T choose tonight as tomorrow they are going to their dads for two weeks. Also it nearly shopping day so cupboards bare.

What price is too much when it could save a life? I wear a kids helmet from Argos which was £7.99. My children have always worn helmets and think poeple who don't are bonkers.

My children would not have a Grandad Alan if he had not had a helmet on a few weeks ago. I know my aunt would have worn a helmet if they had been around. It may have saved her life. A head once damaged is hard to fix. All Alan had to do was fix a bike and buy a new helmet.
