Re: Bycyle wedding

Well we have tried a tandem, the tallest person always goes in front, so that's Mr. QB. Which is also lucky because you have to be quite strong to hold up the bike with an adults weight on it. The stoker (me) should never put their feet down which is a bit scary at first but once you trust your driv...

Bycyle wedding

I'm planning my wedding and people are asking what kind of car we're having. Well, I want my bycyle, she's lovely and liberated me as a student, Mr. QB is also rather fond of his. Bycycles are much better for the enviroment as well. So here is a link to Off Beat Bride with beautiful pictures. Enjoy....

Wrong conker soap

My conker soap's gone mouldy. Here's what I did. 1. Collect newly fallen, hard conkers. 2. Cut off shiney brown skin. 3. Roughly cut. 4. Blend using electric blender and a little water. 5. Spread thinly on a tupperware lid. 6. Leave to dry. Should I have dried them out in the oven? Also, I blended t...

Re: does anyone have

We have a lovely hard futon. Hard beds are good for humans. Prefer to sleap on the floor rather then an overly soft bed.

Re: Ohhhh lovely, a poll!

I picked 'other'. I know we have our roots in Christianity but I'm more of a Jesusarian then a Christian. Having said that like Mr. QB I'm happy to be with any of the above if there's free food going

I don't think we'll really realise what we're doing until it's too late.

Re: Eco-warriors (?)

I got this of Wikipedia for the UK population density: Density 246/km², 637/sq mi But we're not evenly distributed because there are some areas that just can't be farmed. I do wonder if it would be possible for the UK to be food self-sufficiant just for a while like during WW2. Even with micro produ...

I'm feeling abit anxious

Hello everyone, Let me start by saying sorry for bringing the glum news here but here goes. I work in a medium sized company in Surrey and it seems like businesses round us are having an awfully bad time. Every week we're getting letters notifying us of companies going into receivership (to the poin...
