ok it IS possible to make a section ONLY visible to minors, so they cannot see the forum on phpbb, I just installed it and fiddled with it lol

all it means is that children have to be put manually into a sub-section membergroup by a mod :)

Actually - could we do it by changing the allowed access for each child that joins so that (once logged in) they can only access one particular forum. It's possible, but would be a bit of work for the mods. This is what I meant before, it could be possible but yes would make more work for the mods,...

Ah phpbb must be different then because on SMF forums you make a section visible to under 13's so they dont see the rest of the forum - thats why I asked :)
