Re: private water supply
I have 2 private water supplies, or 3 if you count my rainwater harvesting for polytunnel watering. Our main supply is from a mountain spring which is absolutely pure, if a bit on the acid side as it's naturally filtered through peat. We have to have a stainless steel immersion heater or it will on...

Re: Sweetcorn
I hope that it dries up for you soon. My little brothers talked me into planting the corn really early. I thought I might have to replant but it's doing just fine. Its knee high now.

Re: Making a Greenhouse out of upvc windows
Very cool. Could you let me know how much this all cost? I'm looking to build a greenhouse myself. But have been thinking of building one that I can move with little effort.
Also. Quid? I'm not familiar with that unit of measure.

Re: Hello from Iowa
The climate and weather are unpredictable here. Winter can be bitterly cold in the negatives one week and then in the thirties the next. Spring is just as tempermental as fall and winter but with more precipitation. Summer? Hot and humid. Often 95 degrees F with 100% humidity. I'm currently sitting ...

My furbabies.
So I thought mabie I should share a little bit about my growing family. For the longest time it was just me and my puppy ( and my boyfriend when he's not on the rig) This guy has been my confidant my protector and my enforcer since I was barely a teenager. He's getting up there in years now. But he ...
