Re: oil tank in the way...
I worked in a plant nursery a few years ago and we had huge water tanks and an oil tank and we covered them with some mesh and grew climbers up them. As long as the tank is leak and spill free maybe you could cover them with runner beans!

Re: Marijuana
Banning anything just makes it more attractive especially to younger people. I'd love to see all drug use decriminalised just to get rid of the criminal element and all the drug related crime. I know there would be some casualties but I think I'd rather see people buying a pure product with some ide...

Re: cheap blackcurrants
I've planted cheap fruit bushes in the past and have regretted it. My husband bought me some raspberry canes from Pound Land a few years ago and I planted them alongside some I'd bought from a grower the year before. The Pound land canes produce fruits the size of a pea whereas those I bought from t...

Re: 101 Uses for Excess Eggs
I've frozen eggs in the past and then used them for cake making. Just break fresh eggs into a jug, beat them up to break the yolks and pour into plastic bottles. Make sure you don't fill right to the top, and leave the tops slightly unscrewed until they are frozen (make sure the bottles are wedged u...

Re: should junk food be outlawed????
Referring back to the original post, What is Junk Food? The only food I would ban is food that is not fit for consumption through contamination or poor hygiene. I think banning anything just makes it more appealing, like illegal drugs, alcohol prohibition in the US. Banning doesn't work, education a...

Greetings from the Herts/Essex border
Hello. I found your site whilst looking for info on washing a sheepskin rug, then found lots of other interesting stuff, like how to install a woodburner (something I'm wanting to do soon). This site has an amazing amount of information. Are there any members that live near me? It would be great to ...
