Sorry its been ages since I was on, have been very busy with college work! luckily things have changed a bit now and my budget has gone up to £30 a weeks! :cheers:

What on earth is dhal?, sounds like some thing that came out of the back of a yak!! :pukeright: :lol: think i've cracked it this week, £3 for a big lump of beef skirt and £3 on a load of spuds and carrots and a couple of leeks, should make enough stew to last the week and i've got enough left for br...

nope, did talk to them about doing that but it just wouldnt work and they weren't very willing either!

Nope no aldi in walking distance and i'm lodging with a family so i'm kind of on my own!

no food co-op near me that i know of either!

Yes Susie have got a market but its a very posh farmers market which is bloomin expensive!

had never thought of doing that! cheers guys! rather dislike buying any thing from a supermarket but at the mo its the cheapest place for most things!

survive on a very tight budget

OK so i'm studying at college in Winchester and after all my expenses ect i'm left with £15 a week to buy food with! So far i'm managing by living on pasta, beans and really cheap mince with a few bits of veg and fruit when I can afford it, mostly bought from sainsburys as they are the cheapest i've...
