It looks amazing and will probably heat up quicker than plastic sheeting!
Well done!

Re: Eco home audit
Peppermint is great.
A few leaves in hot water is brill for upset stomachs.
I believe sage is good when used as a mouth wash.
Have a look at James Wong - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Grow-Your-Own-D ... 0007307136 Great book!

Mine is in my signature too.
Mainly crafty stuff, but loads more veggie growing and hedgerow harvesting later in the year.
I have a feeling my new house move might feature quite a lot next year (the money pit that it is)!

Re: How do I prepare for winter ?
Just moved into a lovely old cottage circa 1600's and the economy 7 heating and single glazed windows are driving me nuts already  So far - Organised log pile/delivery. Loads of logs by the back and front doors and in the huge log basket. Patchwork quilt and spare blankets dotted around. Hot w...

Re: Dry Your Washing Without the Tumble Drier....
Thanks for the tips.
I am moving to a very old house in the next few weeks - no central heating and don't want a tumble dryer, so will use the tips listed
Keep windows open seems to be a top tip!

Now is a good time to pick and dry lavender..... I usually ...
