Thanks Henwoman. I planted the aubergine in a large box and I think the problem might that I used a peat based compost only. The website you recommended told me that without the addition of lime, the plant could"nt take in calcium. Next year I"ll plant in the border which has the proper PH...

Its not to late atall Clare, whatever you buy, get it from a reputable source, give him/her plenty of grass ect and turkey growers and finisher (when time) and all you want then is a big Oven! Happy Christmas!

Hi! I have two bushes, don!t know the name, sorry, every year I collect around 14kg from one bush and 8kg from the other. (first one green 2nd one red) we use them mostly for jam. The reason we use them for jam is because I got fed up trying to beat the blackbirds to the ripe ones! Has anyone notice...

Are they getting some layers pellets? I agree with Ann above re laying under a bush, once they start they"ll keep goin there. Did you try locking them up in home for a day, if there laying they will use the nestbox, i put some straw in the nestbox and once they make a nest 9 times out of 10 all...
