I've actually seen a interview of a guy who was upset that he had to watch the wind farm a few miles away from his home. It ruined his view he said. I think this was in Texas lol Wind turbines are a definite step forward. If most people can get used to waking up every morning and seeing nothing than...

I think that they are lovely! They fascinate me! I love to see their magnificent "wings" turning like magic. Am I strange? I really don't see why there is so much objection to them when we tollerate really ugly pylons, wires that slash the sky line, the horrid buzzing from the electricity...

I passed some apples from our own garden that my parents brought me for some bananas from the supermarket (I wish we could grow bananas here *sigh*).

One of the things I started doing recently is to unplug the cell phone charger after it's charged. Seems small but small things add up. The nice this is that my phone warns me about removing the charger when it's done.

Great idea to have automated messages that remind people to save energy!

Look at it this way: you wouldn't pay that euro, that Chinese farmer would be left with nothing. They're doing OK because they're self sufficient, it's the modern society we need to worry about. How long have you been doing it for ? Haven't you had any hair problem using bicarb of soda ? I did. I used only that for 6 months, and suddenly, my hair that was very long, just "lost" 20cm.. It just broke.... So I'll never use it again on ùy hair... I've been back to organic shampoo or ...
