Re: Quinoa
Riff-Raff you are right and McKeith is also a poo obsessed weirdo, I should of known better than to try a recipe from someone who has a framed 'perfect' poo on their bathroom wall and has a special poo fridge! Didn't see her celebrity whatever. Hope you enjoy the recipe - sultanas are a nice additio...

If I rinse the potty would emptyin...

Re: Human rights
Human rights act does seem to be misused I used to work addictions and had 2 clients who got compensation for suffering withdrawals (from opiates) in prison. I am not unsympathetic to the issues and problems surrounding drug use but their withdrawals where a consequence of their criminal behavior. G...

It is lovely - if I have surgery will I be able to make things like that too. If so I am off to the docs... Seriously it looks great - well done. I can't do nothing and rest either, I recently broke my foot and it was murder. Plaster is off now but foot still swollen and I have blisters from walking...

Re: What colour is your front door?
Oak stained wood with 3 leaded glass panels, gothic style. We gave up with the draughty multi paint layered door made of large patches of filler. It looks very nice but shows up the rest of the house!

Re: bottling soup?
Hi BeeKerry
If you are short of freezer space but have a little could you make soup concentrate (cook the water out until really thick) then just add water when ready to use? Would have the benefit of being quicker to defrost too.

Re: Grape vineleaves
What a great idea - my neighbour has a grapevine (complete with grapes) overhanging my garden. I hadn't considered dolmades but do like them. I too would love to know how to make them and what to do with underipe grapes too.

Re: I am being realistic in wanting chickens?
Thanks for the responses Happy hippy - the section of garden I want to use is an L shape. The short arm of the L is a sunny westerly aspect so hopefully should provide ample opportunities for sunbathing (should the sun come out!) I had imagined the chickens would run free in the day and just be put ...

Re: Flu jab during pregnancy
Hi there Big Congratulations :) I opted out of the flu jab for my last 3 pregnancies. I was given the flu jab at work 4 years ago when I had just started trying for a baby, my period was late but I hadn't tested. I turned out I was pregnant and miscarried :(. I am not blaming the jab but explaining ...
