Re: Yoghurt
The whey can be used in cooking -- in sauces, soups etc
http://www.diaryofafirstchild.com/2012/ ... s-for-whey lists quite a few uses --everything from the sauces i suggested to adding it to your bath to watering your veg garden!

Re: Chickens? Even though deeds to house say no poultry.
Such covenants in deeds can be enforced. On a much larger scale than mere chickens and many years ago now -- a developer wanted to buy my parents house to knock it down for an access road to land behind the house. The deeds (only dating back to the early 1950's) included a convenant that the land co...

Re: red and prosessed meat linked to cancer
I heard a comment on the radio the other day from a doctor who said the biggest risk factor in cancer is old age Cancers appear to be more common nowadays but it is merely because we live longer. Previously people died of other diseases long before they got cancer Lifestyles do play a part too -- if...

Re: Weight loss group 2012
Its not fair!
I go away for a week, eat more than usual and lose weight (about 3/4 lb)
been home for 5 days, been carefull about what i eat and regain that 3/4 lb
am going to have to have a serious rethink about my eating patterns!

Re: 101 ways to earn a little extra cash
16. If you can cook, offer to cook things for people - when my partner was out of work, I made cakes and took soups into work (just thought, if you are doing this for more than friends you might need to be inspected - best to keep it informal). Anyone preparing food for other people should have thei...

Tomorrow I am off on a weeks holiday where all meals are included and snacks available 24 hours a day I hope I won't go too overboard and will try to st...

Re: Dandelions
