Re: First steps in buying some land

We already have an end terraced house with a garden that sweeps round from front to back, is about the size of 2 standard allotments. Only problem is the local council wont let us have rabbits or chickens :( As for the local allotments, we got bullied off those 2 years back, being threatened with RS...

Re: 101 Uses for Excess Eggs

I'm definatly a pickled eggs girl. I'd never heard of them till I moved to the NE and our lad proudly served me one up on a fork dipped in salt. The look he got! But it was DIVINE! I now go nuts for them, so, pickle em all!

Re: Dressing Up

As a teenager I loved it! I used to make all my own costumes. As I got older the scroogy/grouch in me came hough and I don't even bother going out anymore ^_^ Then again, I don't know anyone round here and I'm too busy with all my projects :) Cup of home brew with my feet up suits me better :)

Re: Ladies: Spatial awareness problems pre-period?!

Jampot, I've poked my OH in the eye a few time with those "random twitches"... you know, trying to take a dog hair off his eyelashes and POKEY!!! My mother used to call me "The Fairy Elephant" during puberty, it's only years later I fully understand

Hehe, almost too huge. Our little freezer is now chock full of stock and steaks... and he's out AGAIN!!! I wish he'd pack in, but i'll never turn down a free lunch. At least we can palm some off on next door- he's letting us use his back garden from next spring for even more veggies, so it's the lea...

Re: Ladies: Spatial awareness problems pre-period?!

Mines more along the lines of depth perception, at certain 'times' I start slamming my coffee cups down onto tables, I've broken so many glasses and cups through this. I also tend to hit my nose with cups, for some reason my mouth seems to be an inch lower during t hese times  I always thought ...

Re: Resistafly

We've always had the same problem.... apart from this year. We found an ancient packet of the "Value" BandQ white label carrot hidden in a drawer, and i though "Well, it can't hurt". They've come out lovely! A little on the small side- but the taste is all there. I'm just glad I ...
