welcome - hope you enjoy the site, we've only recently joined and round it quite useful for advice - we're off to wales for two weeks on saturday and whilst this is great I'm a bit worried the elderflowers will be all gone by the time we get back - not to even mention our about to ripen strawberries

every sympathy - we live next door to a real old fusspot - actually about 15 yrs younger than us, complains about our hens visiting his garden after he encouraged them round then realised after a few months that chickens poo, talked to our dog through the garden fence for about a year then complaine...

Your welcome Carltonian man. it was just rolled in beaten egg and breadcrumbs then shallow fried, nice cold with a dip. Only ever once found a chicken of the woods and been looking without sucess for another ever since. - That looks a young one - not fully grown but i bet it was tender!! - We tried making nuggets with ours and they really were like chicken nuggets. their about - dryads saddle i picked two weeks ago from tree to toast and st georges mushrooms from last weekend - all very tasty too. both found while walking the dogs - never seem to get anything when i'm looking for it
