If land for sale is advertised as Land type Paddocks. Does that mean you have to get permission to change it from "paddocks" to "arable" to grow veg/keep chooks ect? Hope you dont mind me asking in your thread? Also is that likely to be difficult?

Winter Watering

I have the following plants in pots of soil in a unheated greenhouse 10 raspberry canes, blackberry bush, spring cabbages. I also have a blueberry bush outside. The soil is frozen solid and has rarely thawed out for the past few weeks. Should I be watering them?

Bad buy
Draper flask from garden center, didnt keep heat in, handle broke, metal lid "unstuck" from plastic inlay. all within 2 weeks of buying.

Good luck all of you if you do meet up, sounds like it could be a great day out. Sometimes you do have to make that leap into the unknown with foraging. Sorry i can be a bit slow. to the left of each thread there are either blue or orange twirly bullets. Blue means no new posts, orange means new posts. But what does orange twirly spinning mean? and what does the red dot mean?

How much was your 4 acres if you dont mind me asking? Just today I've found 4 acres near me selling at 12k per acre. So that would be 48K!! I've emailed the seller to see if he would consider selling just one acre or renting!
