not sure but if one was well washed and cleaned,could it be used in a jam jar to make a flavor shaker?lm thinking any well washed large fruit stones could be used this way.

*make oven gloves
*make garden apron,pockets to hold garden stuff
*draught excluders, add on bits of recycled cotton pieces to make pictures(kids love doning this)

cut up into small squares and store in small recycled box and use in place of cotton wool pads to take off nail varnish.

if got large broken pieces from terocotta pots, write with a permanent pen marker the names of yr herbs plants and put in garden nk to them.They look very pretty if u can do the writing in calligraphy.

just to say hello..hope to make loads of friends on here.l have only a tiny garden and house but manage to to grow quite a bit in a 5ftx5ft plastic greenhouse and a small sq ft plot.l recycle a lot so l hope my ideas that l will be adding later will be useful to some.l like to collect budget recipes...
