Marguerite Patten- Home made wine and Cordials

Just thought would share this book, have always been a great fan of the dame herself and found this book in a charity shop, is extremely easy to follow and consise although bear in mind it is old fashioned but have found it to be a great beginners book! I have found it on the net for 60p :wave:

I bought an admittedly fairly cheap shredder a little while ago to shred newspaper for bird bedding, annoyingly I have to faff about cutting the pages into less than half to get them to go through the shredder and it jams with irritating regularity!! Giving them to my 16 week old sprocker puppy who then gallops round the house with them stuck on his nose, wondering why he's bashing into everything..he just keeps coming back for more... think is funnier when you see it :lol:

Thank you all for your kindness, blackberries are fine up to a point...I have made lots of blackberrified things but think I need shares in a sugar plantation :pale: they are somewhat tart! Have been debating about goats for a while...
