Re: Bloody, Bloody, Weather
Two frustrasting days in London where it is grey and cold and depressing all day and looks as though it is going to rain, and then the skies clear just in time for the sun to set! Infuriating! I am finding some of my seedlings are coming up now but they have taken ages - I had written them off, as t...

Great British Sewing Bee
Did anyone see this last night? I was hoping to learn something useful but was disappointed in the tired old knockout competition format and lack of real information. I had naively imagined that the title 'Sewing Bee' might indicate something collaborative, to do with sharing skills and techniques -...

Re: Salvage shrunken wool jumper

My partner was not initially enthusiastic, but had come round and had agreed to give it a go. January is expensive anyway as we have three big birthdays (par...

Re: 'Cry it out ' sleep training causes brain damage
I nearly had a breakdown when my child was tiny trying to follow all the childcare advice I was given. He did not sleep and I was nearly demented. Only much later did we find that he has Sensory Integration Dysfunction which often makes it hard for the child to settle and relax. I wish that I had re...

Stick with it Clare - if you are selling at craft fayres and getting enquiries about a website then you clearly do have a market for your things.

Re: I love a bargain, what did you buy today??
Time was when I wouldn't dream of paying £1-00 for butter - but now the very cheapest I can get is usually £1-19. So I got very excited today to find butter at £1.00. I bought 10 quids worth!

Re: 2012 review and apologies!
OMG what a terrible year you have had - I am so sorry to hear of all your worries and tribulations. We had an experience where the agent disappeared with a load of rent we'd paid and we didn't know until the landlord came knocking on the door asking for his money. It wasn't anything like as bad as y...
