Also got a just postwar cookbook - which was my Mum's - great ideas there too - very good for preserves recipes!

Hi Annpan - I realised it was your OH's work mate too - the news has given their names now and they seem to be doing fine - as do those who have been in contact with them.
The media create so much of the panic - its sad when they interfere with people's lives.

My daughter says that cayenne pepper stimulates the metabolism - so that might help too?

Watched the news on this just now - we may all die of scare tactics first! Or am I just cynical?
