Re: Herb Garden Guidance

Cheers guys! Now I've just got to persuade the OH to let me spend money on herbs! But unfortunately garden priority now has to be cutting back the shrubs and tree which are next to the pavement as someone from the council came round yesterday to complain! Considering how bad some of th...

Re: Broken Kitty!

Kitty update: She's confined to the hallway which has nothing she can jump up on and we've got her a slim cat feeding ball and a new toy to try and keep her occupied as the poor baby is really bored. She's escaped a couple of times and just jumped straight up on the bed  ! The vet has said we ...

Re: Broken Kitty!

Nancy had her operation this morning and it went well, I'll be picking her up after work and giving her lots of (gentle!) huggles.

Thanks for keeping me calm everyone! I would have been really nervous all morning if it hadn't been for all your advice and sympathy!

I love ish :grouphug:

Herb Garden Guidance

Hi Folks, I want to start a container herb garden and was wondering if it would be completely foolish to buy herb plants and plant them out in autumn? Should I just wait til spring? I've found a good website with a range of culinery and medicinal herbs and am keen to get started but I don't want to ...

Re: I flipping hate football.

I've got Tynecastle Stadium (home of Heart of Midlothian FC) 2 mins one way, and Murrayfield Stadium (home of Scottish rugby) 2 mins the other... If they've both got games on on the same day, it's a bleedin' nightmare. Hey you must be on the other side of Tyncastle from me. I live between ...

Re: Please send.......

Poo, didn't get the job. Massive bummer, especially after all the hard work I'd put in writing a presentation etc.

Oh well, guess I'll just have to make the best of what Ive got and keep looking for something else. :dontknow:

Re: Broken Kitty!

Wow, oldfella, 2 broken hips and a broken tail? Nancy's got it easy in comparison!

I'm feeling a bit less concerned than I was, thanks everyone. I'll still be worried until she's actually had the op and is awake again though.

Re: Broken Kitty!

Aw, thanks for the sympathy guys, and Davie that link is great thank you!! :hugish: I'm just worried about trying to stop her moving around too much and jumping up on stuff. At the moment the vet has said that she can't do any more damage so not to worry about limiting her movement and apart from a ...

Broken Kitty!

Hi Folks, Found out yesterday that nancy (aka the Chubster) has managed to break her femur, right at the top directly underneath the ball joint. She has to go back to the vets for an operation on friday to remove the broken bit so the top of the femur will go into the socket without the ball, appare...

Chubby Kitty vs Skinny Kitty

Hi Folks, hoping someone will have some pearls of wisdom for me on this one. I have two cats, Sid and Nancy (brother and sister), They are just over a year old now. Nancy is chubby and Sid is skinny and has a sensitive tum so a lot of cat foods makes him sick. They are on complete dried food. I've t...
