IF it's that efficient, you'd need something like a 150w pv panel, plus suitable batteries, controllers and inverter to run year-round - circa £1,000 - 1,200 all-in! :wink: Is that right? Well, if you charge up a battery using a charger you plug into the mains, then you'd be just as well running the pump from the mains and cut out the middle man (and energy losses).
