He also has a chippy which is pretty good. More pricey than a regular chippy but cheap in comparison.

Very tasty too.

Re: Places to visit/do in Cornwall...?

Phelp's (spelling?) Pasty shop in Hayle is pretty good. I'm a big fan of Widemouth Bay when it comes to beaches. It's pretty much right at the top nearly in Devon. There's a good eating pub nearby called The Bayview Inn I think and also a good (well appointed) campsite near too, I think it's called ...

Re: Veg Box Thief

I had most of mine stolen once (the good stuff), it really annoyed me.

What music are you people into?

I'm partial to a little of everything with a heavy emphasis on '60s to '90s rock and only slightly less emphasis on folk (British and American).

Re: Driving theory test - ick!

My driving instructor said pretty much what I put down in the second paragraph above, almost verbatim actually. That was pretty much it for training. There was a bit on the training DVD that I got but it turned out to be exactly the same as the introductory film they give you at the test center. I d...

Re: Driving theory test - ick!

I took mine recently. It wasn't too bad. The introductory video is pretty self explanatory. As long as you don't go overboard with the clicking you should be fine. When you see what you think is a hazard click once, if you're sure it's a hazard click again. That's all there is to it really. Good luck.

I just got an email from my lecturer, looking like a distinction from his first impressions.

I think some more home brew is in order.

Last exam, woo hoo

I had my last exam of the year today.

1 year of college left.

I'm off to drink some home brew in the garden to celebrate.

Do you still have a windows install? You can download Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Which you can often use to record whatever sound is coming out of your computer at the time. I use it to record stuff off the BBC internet radio deeley. You can then listen to the songs in windows media ...
